Scott Paterson is an architect and artist currently in practice as an
Information Architect and Interaction Designer in New York City. He explores architecture as an interface protocol between the activity of our daily lives and the space of digital networks. Paterson studied
architecture at the University of Minnesota CALA and Columbia University
GSAP. He is on the faculty of Columbia University Graduate School of
Architecture and Parsons School of Design where he teaches Interface Design,
Multimedia and Thesis Studios in the MFA in Design and Technology Program.
Marina Zurkow is a polymedia artist whose work draws from visual languages,
character and narrative development in several contexts: the animated
cartoon, the physical object, and interactive spaces. Her work, including
the award-winning web episodic Braingirl, has been featured at Sundance,
the Rotterdam Film Festival, Ars Electronica, bitforms, the Brooklyn Museum,
and SF MoMA, as well as on MTV and PBS. She is currently a Rockefeller New
Media Fellow, and received grants in 2001-2002 from Creative Capital
Foundation and the Jerome Foundation. She teaches "Narrative + Context" at
Parsons School of Design.
Julian Bleecker is a Technologist and Ph.D. candidate at the History of
Consciousness Board at the University of California, Santa Cruz where he
studies the social and cultural implications of science and technology. He
is a professional technology consultant and teaches Design and Technology
for Mobile Experiences at Parsons School of Design. His Masters of
Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle, is an
interdisciplinary emphasis on Computer Science, Computer-Human Interaction,
and Cultural Studies of Technology. He has a Bachelors degree in Electrical
Engineering from Cornell University.
Adam Chapman is an artist, writer, designer, and programmer. His work has been presented and shown internationally at museums, festivals, and galleries, including: the DeCordova Museum, the American Museum of the Moving Image, the New Museum's Z-Media Lounge, the Whitney's artport, SVA's Digital Salon, D.U.M.B.O. Film and Video Festival, and SIGGRAPH. He is Art Editor for the magazine CROWD and currently teaching in the MFA in Design + Technology program at Parsons School of Design. He is a candidate for an MFA in fiction from the New School University.
