Motomichi's work often explores the relationship between violence and human
nature and combines digital animation with an array of visual clues derived
mainly from urban culture.
Recent animation work includes: "Punto Zero," a music video created in conjunction
with Otto von Schirach from Schematic; "Drops," commissioned by Galleria Civica
di Arte Contemporanea in Italy; and the music video "Add Boiling Water," created
for Dj Tampopo of International Deejay Gigolos Records.
Additionally, "Qrime," a set of short animations for the Web, has appeared
in various film festivals including the Sundance Online Festival 2001.
Under the name "VJ Moto - Japonés hasta la madre," Motomichi currently presents
his visuals in front of live audiences, superimposing animated characters on
random images taken from street scenes in Latin America.
