Joshua Davis is a New York artist and technologist producing both public and
private work on and off the Web. His site http://www.praystation.com was the
winner of the 2001 Prix Ars Electronica Golden Nica in the category "Net
Excellence," the highest honor in international net art and design. He is
currently an instructor at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and
lectures globally on his work, inspirations and motivations.
Jemma Hostetler is an artist and designer working in print, packaging and
interactive. Her work, including Prate.com - an aesthetic exploration, has
been featured in numerous reviews and books and was nominated in the art
category of the 2002 Flash Film Festival. She has co-authored a book which
challenges designers to force the boundaries of their creative tools. She is
senior designer at Kilter, a design firm which helps companies focus on
youth markets. Jemma lives and works in Minneapolis.
